Decide what problem a cover needs to solve: dust, accidental contact, sunlight or exposure in a partly open space. The word breathable does not answer every storage question.

Ask the maker Record
Indoor or outdoor use? Exact model and intended environment
What does breathable mean? The maker's explanation for this material
How is fit checked? Vehicle dimensions and accessories
How should it be cleaned? Washing and drying instructions
How should the car be prepared? Conditions stated in the instructions

Assess the building first

Ford's storage guidance recommends a dry, ventilated location. Use this as a prompt to check your garage, then consult your own vehicle manual. A cover should not distract from water entry or damaged metal.

Cover or powered enclosure?

A passive cover and powered enclosure are different purchases. Carcoon describes an active airflow system; that does not establish equivalent behaviour for ordinary covers. Consider access, power, footprint and maintenance before choosing.

Read the storage bubble worksheet and washing before storage. Ask the manufacturer for instructions before buying if the garage conditions are unusual.
